Yen Tjing Ling Medical Foundation
Our mission is to enhance national health and contribute to social welfare.
In 1979, Mr. Yen Tjing Ling and Madam Vivian Wu Yen established the Yen Tjing Ling Medical Foundation with the mission to promote national health and contribute to social welfare. Over the years, the foundation has achieved numerous milestones. These include supporting research into the prevention and treatment of specific diseases, providing scholarships for advanced studies in medicine, facilitating continuing education for practicing physicians, establishing fundamental medical research lectures at the College of Medicine, NYCU, creating the Yang-Ming College of Medicine Health Services Corps, and extending healthcare support to remote areas. Moreover, the foundation has awarded grants for medical research projects, initiated the Yang-Ming Crusade Community Preventive Medicine Program, organized health seminars, and founded a center for geriatric medicine.
The foundation has continuously adjusted its work content and goals to better meet the needs of the people in response to the progress of the times and changes in the environment.
